In a world of endless, open doors, Where every soul can paint its floors, To be a star, a king, a sage, Or write a story on a stage, To climb the peak or sail the blue, To build a world both old and new.
When options shimmer, wide and vast, And shadows of our doubt are cast, When hurried steps and frantic chase, Leave little room for quiet grace, Remember that the truest art, Is simply kindness from the heart.
A gentle word, a listening ear, To calm a stranger’s hidden fear, A hand extended in the night, To share a little of your light, A smile to mend a broken day, To chase the loneliness away.
For though we build and strive and soar, And ask the world to give us more, The greatest treasure we can find, Is in the choice to just be kind. In this grand quest to be all things, It’s the greatest gift a person brings.
