As day surrenders to the coming night,
And hues of amber softly start to fade,
The ocean whispers, bathed in gentle light,
A tranquil scene along this coastal glade.
A figure sits, a shadow taking form,
Upon the balcony, serene and still,
Observing how the dusk withstands the storm
Of daytime’s heat, a quiet to instill.
The final blush of sunset paints the west,
A subtle glow where once the bright sun burned,
A moment held, a time for gentle rest,
As day’s long journey gracefully is turned
To starlit skies above the tranquil sea,
A peaceful close in soft tranquility.
